Cape Town Factory Shops: Food

We have told you about some of Cape Town’s factory shops on this blog before, but for those with an insatiable hunger for factory shops and - for that matter - for food, we have another one to tell you about.

Most people are aware of those factory retailers dotting the landscape of the Cape Town metropolis’s industrial areas that sell clothing. But there are a fair number of food-selling factory shops. Thanks to a champion bargain-hunting relative, we were lucky to encounter one of them.

It is called Freezerland and - as the name suggests - it sells an assorted amount of frozen foods. From seafood, fish, chicken and burger patties to delicious ready-made desserts (the malva pudding is mouth-watering - we had to try it for research purposes! Oh, what we wouldn’t do for you lot) and prepared dishes like mac and cheese. Perfect comfort foods for these long winter nights. Don’t feel like cooking? (Or can’t, like us?) No problem, just stick it in the oven and enjoy. The food will help to thaw the winter chill and warm your stomach, while the very reasonable prices will warm your heart.

Much to our delight, we’ve discovered that there are four different Freezerland outlets. We were just as delighted to discover that they have a website with the contact numbers and addresses of each of those outlets. The site is still under construction - from the looks of it they will display what products they have - but feel free to find out where they are over here.
