Sable Square Factory Shops

Sable Square recently opened their doors to the public and seems to be a great success. The concept of outlet stoors has been around for a long time, but has been newly refurbished through this venture. If you’re looking to buy brand name clothes and accessories at factory shop prices, this is the place to go. Located in Milnerton, near the famous Canal Walk shopping centre, it’s easily accessible with ample parking. Click to www.sablesquare.co.za for more details.

Factory Shops in Cape Town

The most famous factory shops in Cape Town is probably Access Park, just off the M5 highway in Kenilworth. There are probably more than 50 shops to choose from, selling clothing at factory and normal prices. You can get some great bargains if you hunt, but men beware, your wives will go into a buying spree!! +27 (0)21 683 5885

Bayside Shopping Centre Table View

Bayside shopping centre is a mini mall, but still with all the necessary shops to do most if not all of your shopping. They have a great Woolworths with a Woolworths Food Hall. For the movie buffs there is also a nice Ster Kinekor cinema. Restaurants include a Spur Steak Ranch, Panarotti’s Pasta Restaurant, a KFC and Mugg & Bean worth mentioning.

There are also most bank ATM’s, retails clothing stores (including Edgars, Truworths and Markham) and some curio shops. If you live in the Table View, Blaauwberg area this will be your shopping mall. Parking is ample and security is good. There is also a car wash service which comes in handy so close to the sea.

Gardens Shopping Centre

The Gardens Shopping Centre is located in the Cape Town city bowl, close to the Mount Nelson Hotel. It is quite a small shopping centre, but has all the essentials like Woolworths, Pick ‘n Pay, Travel Agencies, Internet Cafe, day time restaurants, clothing stores and much more. Under roof parking is readily available and the shopping centre parking can be accessed from all sides. We couldn’t find a website for them, but any concierge at your hotel or guest house would be able to direct you there. It’s in Mill Street, Gardens.

Canal Walk Shopping Centre

This is the big daddy of shopping centres in South Africa. Hailed as the biggest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere, you’ll have to put on your walking shoes, because there are kilometers of shops to visit. We won’t go into details as there’s just plainly too many to mention. There is ample under roof parking, but make sure you have change available before leaving the centre (this applies to all local shopping centres actually) since you don’t want to get stuck and have to go back in to find change.

The Canal Walk Shopping Centre is located just off the N1 highway, which runs straight out of Cape Town and is about 10-15 minutes drive away.

Gardens Centre

Gardens Centre is centrally located in Cape Town (in the Gardens suburb in central Cape Town) and has easy access from all sides. It’s not a big shopping centre, but is perfect for quick grocery shopping and getting supplies for your home. I can’t seem to find a website for them at the present moment…
